From 22nd February until 26th March staff of Home Retail Group (Argos and Homebase) are choosing their national charity partner for the next two years. Through staff fundraising, merchandise sales and a whole host of other events this partnership will aim to raise a fantastic £2 million.
If the Alzheimer's Charities (Alzheimer Scotland, Alzheimer's Society and Alzheimer Society of Ireland) win the vote, we will work with Home Retail Group to create the Care Well Campaign to help people with dementia and carers. We will use the money raised to provide information and advice to carers of people with dementia throughout the UK and Ireland.

What is dementia?
The term 'dementia' is used to describe the symptoms that occur when the brain is affected by specific diseases and conditions.
Dementia isn't just memory loss - it's the slow failure of the brain. It can strike in your 40s or 50s, and in time people with dementia need help to do everything: dress, walk and even swallow.
71,000 people in Scotland have dementia which is expected to rise to 127,000 by 2031.
