Alzheimer Scotland often receives donations from privately run facilities and dementia service providers. Some pledge to give a proportion of product fees or new patient fees as a charitable donation to Alzheimer Scotland. Alzheimer Scotland is not connected to any of these facilities in any way and does not promote or endorse their services.

Charitable Trusts and Foundations

Charitable trusts and foundations play a vital role in funding Alzheimer Scotland's services.

Charitable trusts can choose a specific part of our work to support or can contribute to our core running costs.

Alzheimer Scotland offers many opportunities for trusts to support our work. Services such as our Dementia Advisors, Dementia Nurses, Dementia Helpline, National Welfare Rights Service, home support and day care all play significant roles in our aim of providing care and support for people with dementia. We also fund medical research and campaign on policy issues and raising awareness of dementia.
