West Highland Way Challenge
2–7 June 2012
West Highland Way
Alzheimer Scotland walkers at the end of the West Highland Way
Opened in 1980, The West Highland Way is Scotland's first official long distance route. This hike, which starts in the outskirts of Glasgow in the lowlands of Scotland and leads walkers to the foot of Ben Nevis in the North of Scotland, is a challenging yet rewarding experience.
In addition to the stunning scenery, walkers may see some of Scotland's rarer wildlife, including red deer, feral goats and, soaring over the highest peaks, golden eagles.
You will be walking in a group so by the end of the walk you will have made a number of good new friends!

The cost of the challenge comprises a non-refundable booking fee of £75 payable to Charity Trek on registration and £568 to cover the cost of the trip for which you will be invoiced 8 weeks prior to the event. We also ask that you pledge to raise a minimum sponsorship of £200 for Alzheimer Scotland. You should aim to get as much your sponsorship money as possible to Alzheimer Scotland before the trip and within four weeks of your return.
