June 2011Alzheimer Scotland's 'Creating Better Dementia Care' conference proved to be a great success. Attended by over 300 delegates this timely event marked the first anniversary of Scotland's National Dementia Strategy.
Nicola Sturgeon, Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Secretary for Health, Wellbeing and Cities Strategy, delivered her first major address since the election in May.
The Minister also launched the first year report on the National Dementia Strategy, the Standards of care for dementia in Scotland, and Promoting Excellence: A framework for all health and social services staff working with people with dementia, their families and carers.Presentations
