Local service guides

We are in the process of compiling guides to local services for people with dementia and their carers in each of Scotland's 32 local authorities. These guides contain information about services provided by social work departments, health boards, Alzheimer Scotland and other voluntary organisations. Each guide has sections on diagnosis and assessment, community care, home support, day care, advice and advocacy, transport, minority ethnic services, carer support and short breaks. Check the list of local authorities on this page to see if there is a guide for your area.
