Alzheimer Scotland announces new Chief Executive

Following the recent announcement of Jim Jackson's retirement from the role of Chief Executive of Alzheimer Scotland, we are pleased to welcome Henry Simmons as his successor. He will take up his appointment in August. Henry comes to us from Enable, Scotland where he has been Executive Director since 2001.

This appointment will herald a new era for the organisation and we look forward to drawing from his considerable experience of developing services for people with learning disabilities in making the most of the Scottish Government's commitment to making dementia a priority.
