Policy Briefings and Consultations

Alzheimer Scotland issues policy briefings and responds to consultations from Government, Parliament and public bodies in order to:

  • represent the views and interests of people with dementia and their carers to policy makers
  • influence public policies which have an impact on the lives of people with dementia and their carers
  • promote the need for high quality services for people with dementia and their carers.

Have your say on current consultations and campaigns

You can help Alzheimer Scotland to influence public policy by giving us your opinions and experiences on current issues. We particularly welcome the views of people with dementia and their carers in informing our policy briefings and responses to consultations. The more people who feed in, the stronger our voice.
