SESSIONAL WORKERS REQUIRED
To provide care and support to people with dementia and their carers in the community as and when required. Understanding and or experience of working with or supporting vulnerable people is essential. Please contact the office (details above) for more information.
DROP-IN VOLUNTEERS REQUIRED
Volunteers are required for our busy city centre Drop-in.
We offer a safe and friendly enviornment for people with dementia and their carers to support each other. The Drop-in meets every Tuesday form 10.30am - 2.30pm.
The volunteers work on a rota basis to assist in supporting the service users. People with experience of dementia preffered.
Volunteers will receive a two day basic dementia training course as well as ongoing group and individual training and support and supervision.
