Alyth & District Alzheimer's Carers Group
The carers group covers the Strathmore locality of Alyth, Blairgowrie, Coupar Angus and surrounding areas.
The group has existed since 1999 when it was established by the Perth Branch and officially joined the Alzheimer Scotland family in December 2003. It will continue to co-operate with the Perth Branch on matters of common interest.
Among the goals for the group will be fund-raising to support its activities and campaigning for improved services in the Strathmore area. Also high on its agenda is the provision of day care services in the area. It will also assist with awareness-raising and recruiting new members.

Friday Friends
This social group for people with dementia and their carers meet every four to five weeks for friendship and activity. The group is supported by the local CPN and Aylth list branch members.
