Glasgow’s second comedy night curries favour with all!

After the success of last year’s Care for a curry? campaign, there were concerns that due to the current financial climate this year’s comedy event might not reach expectations. Our fears were totally unfounded! Numbers were down and raffle prizes harder to source, but all those who attended had a great night of laughter and pakoras! The final total (after expenses) was - £731.20!

There are so many people to thank, but without the Stand and the acts there would have been no night. Billy Kirkwood, Kim McCaskill, Danny Angelo, Chris Forbes & Raymond Mearns all gave their time for nothing, but it meant everything to us! And The Shish Mahal’s help in paying for part of the buffet- priceless and tasty!!! To all those who donated prizes for the raffle and who bought raffle tickets a third of the night’s monies raised would have been lost if it had not been for your good selves. To all those who helped promote the night and to those who chose to support us by buying tickets a great thank you! And last but not least Isabel, David and Will… thanks for being part of the team! Next June anyone?
