Glasgow Younger Persons Support Service

  • counselling - available for person with a diagnosis of dementia or in the process of diagnosis, and carers.
  • carers support groups - various groups, please contact the number below for further information.
  • self support groups for people with a diagnosis of dementia run periodically - please contact the number below for more information.
  • home support - one to one support to enable clients to utilise resources in their local community. The service is providedby a group of trained workers
  • day care - specialist day care two days per week offering one to one group activities to meet the needs of clients who attend.

We are a specialist service for people who are under the age of 65. We deal with people from diagnosis and throughout the process of their condition, offering a flexible service which endeavours to respond to individual need.
