Full Training Programme Calendar 2007 - 2008 (Pdf)The training unit offers a variety of in-service courses for staff and a percentage of places are available to external participants. The training unit also provide in-house training programmes, SVQ referenced, for external organisations designed to meet their individual needs.
All courses are planned and delivered to a standard that will ensure people with dementia and their carers receive quality care. Times arranged to suit organisational needs - e.g. full day/half-day/sessional
- Course fees for external participants who have group or corporate membership will be the same as those for Alzheimer Scotland - Action on Dementia staff, non-members will pay a 10% surcharge.

Each stage is made up of selection of appropriate modules.
The calendar identifying modules (colour coded for development stage) to be
run and is updated every month.
Alzheimer Scotland has a staff training and development programme comprising 5 stages:

- Foundation
- Management
- Continuing Development
