Dundee Services – Support Worker

5.5 hours (Saturday)
Salary Scale: (GS1 points 6-8 / £6.79- £7.22 per hour) starting point dependent on qualification

To provide support to people with dementia, including early onset, in partnership with Dundee City Council at our integrated service at Oakland Centre. Understanding/and or experience of working with or supporting vulnerable people is essential. A positive approach to dementia and a willingness to learn and participate in training (including SVQs) is essential.

Relevent qualifications/ and or experience of working with people with dementia would be an advantage.

As a member of our Moray Service team, you will support people with dementia and their carers at home. Good communication skills, a positive approach to dementia and a willingness to learn and participate in training (including SVQ’s) are essential.

Relevant qualifications SVQ II or equivalent and/or experience of working with people with dementia would be an advantage. Use of own car desirable.

North Aberdeenshire Services – Sessional Support Workers

Banff and Turriff

Varied hours per week
Salary Scale: GS1 point 6 – 8, £6.79 - £7.22 per hour

Starting point dependent on qualifications.

We are looking for people who can work flexibly and who will integrate with established teams to provide a high standard of care for people with dementia who are over 65 years of age. Successful applicants will provide support and care on a one to one basis for people in the Banff and Turriff areas in their own homes.

Relevant qualifications and / or experience of working with people with dementia would be an advantage. A comprehensive training package is in place to ensure that service users are given the highest possible level of care and support. The successful applicants will be subject to a criminal convictions check. We would welcome applications from older or retired persons.
