Support Workers (Sessional basis only)
The West Fife Younger Persons Project is unique to the area, providing Day Opportunities and Family Outreach to younger people with dementia and their carers. The Community and Home Support aspect of the service is spot purchased separately by Social Work Services depending on individual needs. This is usually when service users are no longer able to participate in the Day Opportunities group or who have enhanced care needs.
As a result we are looking for individuals who can work on a one to one basis to provide support in sustaining skills and activities within the service users home and local community. Hours can be varied depending on needs of service users. Applicants would be required to work in a flexible way and must have their own transport. Preferably qualified to SVQ Level 3.
Hourly rate of £6.79 - £7.22 depending on qualifications plus mileage allowance will be paid.
