What does it do?

  • An A4 sized magnifier that can be used hands free.  Has a cord that you can wear round your neck, or has fold out legs that allow it to be positioned above a book, or whatever you want to see.
  • It has a light to enhance contrast while reading

What’s the problem?

  • You can't read small print
  • You want to do things which require both hands, but also need to be able to read instructions or recipes

What I liked

Good for use in the kitchen to help follow a recipe while leaving both hands free.
It can sit at an angle with one set of legs folded under.

What I disliked

Not so useful round the neck as it as you have to move it to get it to focus in the right place. To adjust the length of the cord, a screwdriver is required.
The string gets in the way when you are opening and closing the legs.
When magnifying print its not consistently clear and if using the light you get a rainbow effect on the page.

What is interesting

It needs a longer focal range, but the option to sit the device at an angle was useful.

What I thought about it overall

A little cumbersome but helpful for reading whole pages of text at a time.
