We have created a suite of information resources for people with dementia, their carers and families throughout the coronavirus pandemic. This will include information on activities, support for families and what to do if you have to go into hospital during this time.
This will be updated on a regular basis as the situation progresses, please check back to see the most up-to-date information.
Care home information and resources
We have created podcasts and helpful resources for those who are supporting people living with dementia in Scotland's care homes.
Face covering guidance
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, face coverings have become mandatory in many indoor public places and forms of transport. However, if you have dementia, there are exemptions in place. Find out more by downloading our Exemptions Poster. There's also a downloadable exemption card, and a version which can be cut out to keep on your person.
Guided activities for your home
Our staff and volunteers have recorded videos of activities you can join in with at home, from singing to gardening. We're sure you'll find something to interest you, and we're adding new content all the time.
Information and Resources from our Allied Health Professionals
Our Allied Health Professionals have prepared guidance and resources for people with dementia and those who support them. This section of our website contains activities and information to help keep you healthy and active.
