During these troubling times as we face the coronavirus pandemic, Alzheimer Scotland supporters are using their imagination to create their own challenges whilst fundraising for the vital services Alzheimer Scotland provides.

One fundraiser who has really stepped up to the challenge is Euan Mclaughlan from Perth and Kinross, who successfully ran 50k in his back yard in one continuous loop.

Euan said “I woke up this morning and felt like running an ultra, as you do. It was a snap decision at 8am!”

Evidence of Euan’s accomplishments were proven by the impressive track imprints left on the garden grass after finishing his run in just over 7 demanding hours.

The news of Euan’s challenge was spread throughout the neighbourhood as many locals passed by to hear about Euan's fundraising efforts which have raised £348.00 so far for Alzheimer Scotland.

Euan has been a supporter of Alzheimer Scotland for a number of years and previously completed the Great Stirling Run, Edinburgh Marathon Festival and Spartan Races.

Euan, you are an inspiration!

Whether it's a big or small challenge, fitness related or not, it doesn't matter, either way you are supporting Alzheimer Scotland and ensuring nobody faces dementia alone.
