Phenomenal Fundraising
We are delighted to announce that our Stirling Branch have reached their £100K fundraising target which they set themselves to assist with the opening of a new Forth Valley Dementia Resource Centre.
The volunteer group have been an absolute force to be reckoned with, organising a whole series of events including afternoon teas, ceilidhs and most recently a St. Patrick's Night.
Throughout their campaign to reach £100K the volunteers have really harnassed local community support, which has built an excellent foundation for the new resource centre in Alloa.
Katie, our locality fundraiser explained, "We have nothing but admiration for the group, their energy, enthusiasm and determination is infectious. We cannot thank you all enough for your amazing efforts, for a cause we know is very close to everyone's hearts."
Sally McNaught, Head of Localities Fundraising added, "This is a fantastic achievement. Many, many congratulations to everyone involved. We are looking forward to celebrating properly when the current restrictions are lifted with the opening of the new centre."
