Join us for the launch of our new Fair Dementia Care documentary 'Dementia: the true cost' which focuses on the inequalities that people with advanced dementia, their families and carers, are experiencing.

Alzheimer Scotland teamed up with former STV news correspondent Mike Edwards to create the documentary which features personal accounts from carers of people living with dementia and contributions from:

  • Henry McLeish, chair of the Fair Dementia Care Commission
  • Professor Debbie Tolson, Director of the Alzheimer Scotland Centre for Policy and Practice
  • Margaret Brown, Deputy Director of the Alzheimer Scotland Centre for Policy and Practice
  • Jim Pearson, Director of Policy and Research at Alzheimer Scotland

Following the documentary screening there will be an open question and answer session to discuss the Fair Dementia Care Campaign.
