Take on a challenge with Team AlzScot

Follow in the footsteps of the Roman legions on this fantastic weekend trekking challenge as we trek from Lanercost Priory to Brocolitia.

Trekking 25 miles along the most remarkable Roman monument in the country, Hadrian’s Wall, our route encompasses breathtaking views and fascinating ruins with the picturesque Northumberland countryside providing stunning backdrops from start to finish.

Itinerary

Day 1
Meet at the campsite near Haltwhistle in the early evening for a group meal and event briefing

Day 2
After breakfast, your trek begins including the Birdoswald Roman Fort! Distance trekked – 14 miles (approx).

Day 3
Trek straight from your tents to Brocolitia. Pass several lakes and crags,which add some adventure to your challenge! Distance trekked - 11 miles (approx.).
