Eleven year old Ruaridh sets the pace in dedication to his gran Eleven year old Ruaridh has raised over £2,690 and counting for Alzheimer Scotland by taking on an unusual 24 hour challenge. He will run a little more than one mile, every hour for 24 hours until he reaches the distance of 26.2 miles (the same as a full marathon). Outdoor enthusiast Catriona and family fundraise over £4000 for Alzheimer Scotland! Following Catriona’s diagnosis of dementia and inspired by their mum’s love of the outdoors, in 2021, Caitlin and her sister Sinead and their mum undertook their 100 miles challenge.
