What sort of volunteering interests you?
Befriending someone living with dementia in their own home, local care home or hospital by visiting regularly
Support people with dementia at one of our service locations or Dementia Resource Centres, helping them to enjoy friendly conversations, therapeutic activities and outings
Helping to organise or support an event, from a coffee morning to a gala dinner, to joining a cheer squad at planned events all helping to raise funds to support our work
Assist with administration work in one of our services or Dementia Resource Centres or office bases
Work on our 24/7, free to call Dementia Helpline, or our email-based e-Helpline
Help to raise awareness and improve understanding of dementia, or provide information to people who want to find out more
Offer a skill, such as music or art, to use in activities with people with dementia. Or provide a service, such as aromatherapy or hairdressing
Driving or escorting people with dementia to and from planned activities or by driving our Memory Bus to organised events
Promote our awareness-raising, fundraising and campaigning online
