Do you have a dog that just loves people?
Interested in some free dog training?
Volunteers are needed for a wonderful new social event that brings the joy of dogs together with people living with a diagnosis of dementia.
Training will take place in October. The training sessions will be an hour long, once a week for 8 weeks with both owner and dog in attendance.
In the new year the dog days will begin and you will be asked to come along for one afternoon per month with your dog.
If this is something you think you and your dog can committ to then please get in touch for more information.

How volunteering helped me
The volunteer work I do is really varied; helping out with monthly meetings, interviewing members about their experiences of setting up audio-visual equipment – I’ve even accompanied a member to a European Parliament meeting in Brussels!
I can’t praise the Alzheimer Scotland staff highly enough. They’ve been great to Bill and me all these years. I don’t know what we would have done without them!
