Volunteers for Stirling & Clackmannanshire
If you are enthusiastic and prepared to offer a few hours or more we would love to hear from you. We are looking for people who would like to get involved with either holding events of their own or working with us on our fundraising.
Our aim is to raise £100,000 to support and kit out a community focused Dementia Resource Centre whilst raising awareness of what it will provide. As this project is new you will be involved at the start of something very exiting and worthwhile.
We welcome anyone with a caring and happy dispostion who enjoys working with others. No experience is necessary but you should have a desire to help and work with other like-minded individauls to build something long lasting, worthwhile and become a lebgacy in the community.
If you would like to join us in fundraising, join us at awareness events or wish to be involved with helping people living with dementia locally please call:

How volunteering helped me
The volunteer work I do is really varied; helping out with monthly meetings, interviewing members about their experiences of setting up audio-visual equipment – I’ve even accompanied a member to a European Parliament meeting in Brussels!
I couldn’t believe that just talking to someone for half an hour could really improve their quality of life.
