News Is research the route to finding a cure? Martin's story Martin Robertson was diagnosed with a rare form of dementia, Posterior Cortical Atrophy, in 2016 aged 57. Since then, he has engaged heavily with the research field, seeing it as the route to a cure for this disease.
News Eleven year old Ruaridh sets the pace in dedication to his gran Eleven year old Ruaridh has raised over £2,690 and counting for Alzheimer Scotland by taking on an unusual 24 hour challenge. He will run a little more than one mile, every hour for 24 hours until he reaches the distance of 26.2 miles (the same as a full marathon). All of this is in support of his granny who is currently living with dementia in East Lothian.
