National Care Service Forum

The Scottish Government are hosting their second National Care Service Forum on Monday 30 October at the Glasgow Science Centre, 50 Pacific Quay, Glasgow G51 1EA - which has accessible facilities as well as excellent transport links and parking. For those who cannot attend in person,  online options are available.

This event is a chance for people with lived experience of accessing social care support, unpaid carers, people who work in community health and social care, and other organisations to come together and talk about the progress of the National Care Service and what needs to happen next. It will also be an opportunity to share the feedback gathered from the regional co-design events held across Scotland this summer. More information about the agenda will be sent to everyone registered before the event.

The Scottish Government would like to make sure as many people as possible with varied lived experience join this conversation on what the National Care Service could look like in future. They can offer travel or other expenses to support people who do want to come along and would be out of pocket from attending.

More information about the event, including how to sign up, can be found on gov.scot/ncs
