Inverclyde Dementia Resource Centre
The Inverclyde Dementia Resource Centre is for people affected by dementia and their carers, friends and family members to access information, support and advice.
Our day and evening care service provides therapeutic activities and opportunity for socialisation for adults over 65 who have a diagnosis of dementia. We offer a wide and varied range of activities. Referrals for the service are made through the social work department or consultants. For further advice on how to access this support please contact us at the resource centre.
In the local community we also run drop-in cafes, carers training and support groups and a range of therapeutic and interest based supports and social activities.
Our Post Diagnostic Link Worker supports individuals and their families/carers after the initial diagnosis has been made. Referrals for the service are made through the consultants based in Inverclyde Hospital.
Our community fundraiser can support you to raise monies which can be used to support both the work of the service locally as well as the work of the organisation nationally.
