Case study A shift in the life of a helpline volunteer There is no 'typical' day on our 24hr Freephone Dementia Helpline but four of our highly skilled volunteer call handlers have shared their story to mark Dementia Awareness Week.
News Volunteers wanted for 24h Freephone Dementia Helpline Since 1989, our Helpline has supported thousands of people with dementia, their partners, family and friends. We're now looking for dedicated and compassionate volunteers who can commit to at least one regular shift per week on the Helpline.
