Alzheimer Scotland express condolences to Prime Minister Burnham

Alzheimer Scotland are saddened to hear of the passing of Prime Minister Andy Burnham’s father Roy, who had been living with Alzheimer’s disease.

Henry Simmons, Alzheimer Scotland’s Chief Executive said:

“Alzheimer Scotland wish to express our sincere condolences to Prime Minister Andy Burnham and his family following the death of his father, Roy, who had been living with Alzheimer’s disease.

“Our thoughts are with them at this difficult time. As a charity supporting people living with dementia every day, we are reminded once again of the profound impact the condition has on individuals, families and communities.”
