Shirley's story
My name is Shirley, I’d like to share my experience of how the Freephone Dementia Helpline provided invaluable support when I was facing one of the most challenging times of my life.
Having those reassuring voices who understood you, It’s a lifesaver… It kept me going.

Our Helpline appeal

Alzheimer Scotland’s Helpline provides information and signposting to anyone that calls, delivering accessible support regardless of circumstance.
This is important as 1 in 3 people living with dementia in Scotland do not have a diagnosis, which could be a barrier to care.
Every £14 donated means we can continue to run our Helpline for another hour. Help us answer every call by donating this winter.
