Shooting Stars
On Sunday 12 April a host of celebrities and football legends will lace up their boots for an action-packed charity match at Broadwood Stadium!
Tickets are just £10 for adults – and under-18s go free.
Who are our Shooting Stars?
The match will be Scotland vs the Rest of the World with the Scotland side managed by former Rangers and Scotland manager Alex McLeish.
Former players already signed up include Junior Mendes, Lee McCulloch, Jim Goodwin, John Sutton, Nacho Novo, Jose Quitongo and Charlie Adam.
Celebrities will include professional boxer David Brophy, River City actors Stephen Purdon and Robin Laing, and Still Game’s Sanjeev Kohli and Matt Costello.

Tickets: Adults: £10 | Under-18’s Free (must be accompanied by an Adult ticket holder). All attendees, including those under 18, must have a ticket in order to access the event.

How will I receive my ticket?
Registration is through Eventbrite, who will issue you with a QR code ticket. Please check your confirmation email for details on how to access your ticket(s).

Do I need a ticket to attend?
Yes, each attendee requires a ticket to access the venue.
Guests under 18 must hold a ticket and be accompanied by an adult ticketholder.

What are the timings for the event?
Doors open at 11am and we’re anticipating a 1pm kick-off, however we’ll confirm the exact timings for the day closer to the event.

How do I get to the stadium?
Broadwood stadium is located just of the M80 motorway (Junction 4A Northbound/ Junction 5 Southbound). Please note that parking is limited and on a first come first served basis.
The closest train station is Croy (approximately a 20-minute walk from the stadium), with regular services from both Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Is the venue accessible?
We’re committed to making the event accessible to all attendees. If you have specific access requirements, including if you require a designated wheelchair space, please contact us in advance at events@alzcot.org, and our team will assist with your booking.

Can I order a companion ticket?
If an attendee requires the support of a full-time companion or carer in order to attend, please contact us at events@alzscot.org in advance of booking. We’re happy to discuss individual circumstances and will do our very best to help support attendance.

What happens if I can no longer attend?
If you have booked free child tickets that you no longer need, we would be grateful if you could let us know by contacting events@alzscot.org, so that we can make them available for others to enjoy.
We also appreciate your understanding that adult tickets are non-refundable once purchased.
