What we offer

The centre aims to support people with dementia, their families, relatives and friends at any stage of the illness. The following support is on offer:

  • Information and advice
  • Community activities for people with dementia and carers
  • Peer support groups for people with dementia and carers.

See below for a full list of what is available in the East Ayrshire area.

Alternatively click here to view a full list of our local community activities, or here to find out more about each activity.

You’ll notice certain key differences from our usual activities immediately.

Firstly, we want to be able to take the time to let skills develop, nurture talent and we want to allow carers proper respite.

Secondly, building towards a tangible result is key such as a picture, a foreign language and a performance. We want to stimulate and create.

Finally, there's no cost attached, all we ask for is a donation at the end of each session.

To mark Dementia Awareness Week, we are hosting a Music at the Park on the 1 June 2023, Park Hotel in Kilmarnock at 7.30pm. Tickets are £15 and available now! Click here for further information into the event. Please contact  [email protected] or phone: 01563 542621 to purchase your tickets.
