Why you should get involved

How can you help?

On the 21st of September 2018 we marked one year since the successful launch of Purple Alert App. We are now working on an ambitious new plan to build the community of Purple Alert users across Scotland.

Purple Alert’s strength is the community. We need more people to download the app and create a profile to become part of the community. By doing this they will be supporting more people with dementia to live independently and to feel safe when out and about.

How you can help

Whether you’re an individual or a large enterprise, we want to hear from you. There are different ways you can get involved:

  • Give just a minute of your time, or commit time over the year.
  • Donate in-kind support
  • Donate cash, fundraise or become a corporate sponsor

Have a look below and get in touch. We’d love to hear from you. Please get in touch, or have a look at our dedicated Purple Alert website for more details about how you can get involved

Volunteer 1 Hour

It’s amazing how much it can be done in one hour. It would be great if you could print this poster and display it into your local GP surgery, or your library, or your local shop.
IMPORTANT: Please ask the venue’s manager if it’s ok to do so.

Volunteer 1 Day

Would you like to set up a stall in your area?

We are working on this option to make it as straight forward as possible. If you’re interested, please get in touch.
