About our Centre
A UK first, the Outdoor Brain Health & Dementia Resource Centre enables people living with dementia and their family and carers to experience the mental and physical benefits of spending time outdoors. This innovative centre is located at Badaguish Outdoor Centre. The project is part of the Cairngorms National Park Authority’s Cairngorms 2030 programme and is supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
There is a range of engaging nature-focused activities to choose from including gardening, cycling, arts and music. Inspired by green health research some activities involve being active in nature whilst others focus on Bringing the Outdoors In to promote inclusivity.
Follow our activities via Microsoft SWAY here.
