What we offer
Our team within South Ayrshire aims to support people with dementia, their families, relatives and friends at any stage of the illness.
The following support is on offer:
- Information and advice from our Dementia Advisor.
- Peer support groups and information sessions.
- Social community activities for people with Dementia and unpaid carers.
Appointments with the Dementia Advisor can be arranged. Our groups are delivered within the local community.

About our Centre
Brain Health & Dementia Resource Centres are designed to be friendly, accessible environments for everyone to enjoy. Following the principles of dementia friendly design, we strive to create a local feel, creating a sense of homeliness which we know is important in helping everyone to feel at ease.
The following support is on offer:
- Information and advice
- Community activities for people with dementia and carers
- Peer support groups for people with dementia and carers.
Our Centres also offer a drop in facility for anyone interested in finding out about brain health and risk reduction. Our trained staff can work with people of all ages to understand more about the factors that contribute to brain health and to build a personalised brain health plan.
