A new look for Alzheimer Scotland

We’re updating the Alzheimer Scotland logo and visual identity as part of a wider brand refresh, following our move to a new National Office and a change to our registered address. This refreshed identity reflects who we are today and how our work continues to grow.

While our look is evolving, our commitment remains the same: to stand alongside people living with dementia, their families and carers, and to work towards a Scotland where nobody faces dementia alone.

Our previous “three people” logo has been part of Alzheimer Scotland for more than 45 years. It symbolised the person living with dementia, supported by a carer, who is in turn supported by Alzheimer Scotland. That meaning has been important to us for decades and remains a valued part of our story.

Care remains at the heart of everything we do. But our work today also reflects a broader ambition, to prevent dementia where possible, provide high-quality support and care, and investing in the structures that enable brain health and dementia research to flourish. Updating our brand gives us the opportunity to better reflect our strategic priorities of Prevent, Care and Cure while reinforcing our role as Scotland’s leading dementia charity.

Our new logo has been developed with input from people living with dementia, helping us create an identity that is more dementia friendly, relatable and reflective of the people and communities we support now, and those we hope to support in the future.

We’re keeping our distinctive purple brand colour, while introducing an updated palette that gives us more flexibility and improves readability across digital and printed materials. This will help us present information more clearly and accessibly for the people who use our services and engage with our work.

Our logo may be changing, but our purpose is not. Alzheimer Scotland remains committed to supporting people living with dementia, their families and carers, and to making sure nobody faces dementia alone.
