How your business can help
Fundraising in your workplace is a great way to help support Alzheimer Scotland and people living with dementia. We've put together some of the most popular ways businesses are already supporting our work:
Make a tax-free donation, directly from your salary! To offer the scheme, your employer needs to be registered with a Payroll Giving Agency, which are free to join. Ask your HR or payroll department for more information.
Make a regular or one-off donation in support of our work. Big or small, every single penny makes a difference. Your company could also claim tax relief benefits on your charitable donations!
Office fundraising events offer a fun and rewarding experience for your team, helping to motivate colleagues, encourage team work, improve communication and boost morale. We have a variety of fundraising toolkits which give lots of ideas how you and your colleagues can support us at work.

Your workplace can also support us in ways other than fundraising. Why not help raise awareness and reduce the stigma of dementia by becoming an accredited Dementia Friend?
This awareness raising initiative from Alzheimer Scotland aims to give people a better understanding of dementia and the small things we can all do to make a positive difference to people living with dementia in our community.
Dementia Friends sessions can be delivered easily to your organisation via a digital suite of training films lasting for 10 mins, or you can sign up for a 45 minute face-to-face session with one of our trained staff. The sessions are interactive and designed to engage staff, to find out more information visit here.
