Discover how Scotland is leading the way in brain health, dementia care, policy, and lived-experience leadership through our bespoke study visits. Designed for organisations, policymakers, researchers, and practitioners, our visits offer an immersive opportunity to learn from real-world practice, innovation, and community engagement.
Study visits can be delivered in-person in Scotland or online, depending on your needs.
What we offer
Our study visits are fully tailored to your interests and can include:
- insight sessions on brain health, dementia services, policy, research, and public engagement
- visits to Brain Health & Dementia Resource Centres to see local support in action
- workshops and discussions with national experts, practitioners, and people with lived experience
- exposure to innovative programmes, including rehabilitation approaches, digital tools, therapeutic activities, and community-led support

exploration of national strategies and evidence, including the 2024 Lancet Commission on Dementia Prevention, Intervention and Care; post diagnostic support; and disease modifying treatment readiness
