About our National Centre
Our National Centre, completed in early 2026, is the flagship of our charity and represents a significant investment in both Edinburgh and Scotland’s national dementia infrastructure. The Centre replaces our former, much smaller head office on Dundee Street and is approximately three times larger. This expansion demonstrates our long‑term commitment to people living with dementia, to their carers and families.
The National Centre brings together several important elements of our work under one roof. Key features include:
- A state‑of‑the‑art Brain Health Hub, focused on prevention and empowering people to look after their brain health
- Day opportunities and direct support for people living with dementia and their carers
- An internationally recognised brain health and dementia care training suite, positioning Scotland as a leader in dementia innovation, education and best practice
- A showcase space highlighting Alzheimer Scotland’s advancements in brain health and dementia care
