Stay connected with our virtual fundraising hints and tips!

We understand that coronavirus is affecting our lives in so many different ways and we really appreciate your continued support. We've put together this collection of ideas to help you safely along your fundraising journey!

Make it personal!

A picture speaks a thousand words, so add one to your JustGiving page. Let your supporters know who you are and why you have chosen to support Alzheimer Scotland.

End Goal

To keep your motivation up, set yourself realistic achievable goals and then set another once you've smashed that one! Set a target on your JustGiving page and increase it when you've reached it.

Remember this is your challenge  so do it your way! It’s important to look after yourself and to keep within government guidelines. Break up your challenge over a few days or weeks, especially if you are utilising your daily outdoor exercise.

Stay connected

You are doing something amazing - so let everyone know about it! Share on your Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Linkedin, Pinterest, blog, Youtube channel. Anywhere you keep in touch with your friends!

Get others involved (from a distance!)

Already using Zoom or another app to connect with friends and family? Why not challenge them all to take part with you during your next catch up. Keep it short and safe by asking everyone to run or walk for 1-5 minutes to give them a glimpse into the amazing work you are doing!

Ready, set go LIVE

Livestreaming your virtual challenge is a great way to get noticed on your feed. Extra points for wearing something silly!

Daily mile

Keeps the kids active by challenging them to join you in walking, running, or jogging a mile a day!
